KFC New Menu Items UK: The Short Answer

For anyone in a hurry, here is the whole picture in five lines:

  • The Mozzamelt range is on menus now and ends on 8 November 2026, while stocks last.
  • The Mozzamelt Burger comes with an Original Recipe or Zinger fillet, at 814 kcal or 718 kcal.
  • Mega Mozza Sticks cost £3.33 for 3 or £7.99 for 6, and the sticks stay on after the rest of the range ends.
  • Gravymas starts on Monday 9 November 2026 and runs to 3 January 2027, with the Gravy Burger back at £7.99.
  • Kwench drinks are already in every Scottish KFC and are rolling out across the rest of the UK.

Everything below goes through each range properly, item by item. Dates matter more than usual here, because the two ranges swap over on consecutive days, and popular items tend to sell out before the official end dates arrive.

One range is ending, one is about to start, and one is slowly spreading across the country. If you read nothing else, the dates to remember are 8 November for Mozzamelt ending and 9 November for Gravymas starting.

The Mozzamelt range: on menus now

The Mozzamelt range launched earlier this autumn and runs for five weeks until 8 November 2026, while stocks last. It is available in restaurants, on the app and on delivery across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The whole range is built around one simple idea: fried mozzarella on everything. The cheese is the headline, the chicken is the base, and the short run means it is designed to be tried once or twice rather than become a weekly habit.

Because the run is short, availability is the catch. While stocks last is doing real work in that sentence, and busy branches tend to run out of the burger first, usually in the last few days before the range ends.

Mozzamelt Burger. Your choice of Original Recipe or Zinger fillet, topped with a hot fried mozzarella patty, a melted cheese slice, iceberg lettuce and tangy tomato salsa on a glazed sesame bun.

KFC’s own nutrition figures put it at 814 kcal for the fillet version and 718 kcal for the Zinger.

The mozzarella patty is the whole point of it. It is a thick slab of cheese fried until the outside crisps and the middle goes soft, so you get the cheese pull effect on top of the chicken with every bite.

Either way, this is a main event burger, not a light lunch. Those calorie figures sit well above a standard fillet burger, so most people will treat it as the whole meal rather than something to add fries and extras around.

Mega Mozza Sticks. Crispy herb coated mozzarella sticks. 3 for £3.33 or 6 for £7.99. Three sticks come in at 333 kcal.

The bigger box is the sharing option. Six sticks split between two people as a side is how most groups order them, and there is good news if you miss the main range: the sticks stay on through the festive period.

Mozza Dipping Feast. The sharing option of the range, built around the mozzarella sticks for the table.

It is aimed at groups and families rather than solo orders, the sort of thing you put in the middle of the table and let everyone pick at. If your group cannot agree between chicken and cheese, this is the compromise order.

One more thing for loaded fries fans. The everyday Dirty Loaded Fries are the closest comparison on the current menu, and a festive version of loaded fries joins the lineup on 9 November as part of the Gravymas range below.

The Gravymas Christmas range: starts 9 November, not available yet

This is the upcoming one. The Gravymas festive range launches on Monday 9 November 2026 and runs to Sunday 3 January 2027 at participating restaurants across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. None of these items are available yet.

The changeover is quick. Mozzamelt finishes on 8 November and Gravymas starts the very next morning, so there is no gap week this year. Our KFC Christmas menu guide covers the whole festive lineup in detail.

ItemPriceWhat you get
Gravy Burger£7.99Original Recipe fillet, hash brown, melted cheese, sage and onion seasoning, gravy mayo, plus a pot of warm gravy for dunking
Gravymas Meal£11.99Gravy Burger, regular fries, Original Recipe Tender, regular drink
Festive Loaded Fries£3.99Fries, Popcorn Chicken, gravy mayo, sage and onion seasoning
Fully Festive Meal£13.49Gravymas Burger or Festive Loaded Fries, plus a Kwench shake
Festive Double Bucket£23.496 pc Original Recipe and 8 Hot Wings, or 6 pc and 6 Tenders, or 12 Tenders
Festive Triple Bucket£27.496 pc Original Recipe, 6 Tenders and 8 Hot Wings

The buckets come with regular fries, a large side and a large drink. You can upgrade any meal to Festive Loaded Fries for £1.99 extra.

Both buckets follow the same pattern. The price you see covers the whole table’s dinner rather than just the chicken, which is why they look steep next to a standard bucket until you price the fries, side and drink separately.

The run itself is a long one by KFC standards. Nearly eight weeks from launch to the final day on 3 January gives the festive range time to settle in, and it covers the whole Christmas and New Year period in one go.

The Gravy Burger is the headline. It returns after being off menus since 2021, and it is the one people ask about every Christmas.

Good news if you love the Mozza Sticks too. They continue through the festive period rather than disappearing on 8 November.

The Avengers: Doomsday Range: Starts 9 November

A second range launches on the same day as Gravymas. The KFC Avengers: Doomsday menu arrives on Monday 9 November 2026 at participating restaurants across the UK and Ireland, ahead of the film reaching UK cinemas on 16 December 2026.

It is a separate range from Gravymas, not part of the Christmas menu. Both launch on 9 November, so the menu will be busy that week.

Doom Burger Box Meal£11.99Burger as a box meal

Doom Dust£0.50Green seasoning, smoky charred lime with chilli, to sprinkle over a regular order
Colonel Collectable£2.00With any Doom Burger, while stocks last; five figures to collect

The Doom Burger is the headline. It is an Original Recipe chicken fillet with melted cheese, iceberg lettuce and gherkins, in a black sesame bun with two new sauces: a sweet and sticky Doom Cola Sauce, and a Smoky Green Mayo.

The cheapest way in is the Doom Drip’d Wings at £2.99, or the 50p Doom Dust if you only want the flavour on a regular order. The shake at £3.99 is the dessert side of the range.

The five Colonel Collectables cost £2 each with any Doom Burger, while stocks last. A glow-in-the-dark merchandise range is also sold through kfcshop.co.uk.

The Doom range runs through January 2027 — the wider campaign wraps up on 31 January 2027 — so treat it as limited time and while stocks last. Prices may vary by restaurant and on delivery.

Kwench drinks: rolling out now

Kwench is KFC’s 13 strong made to order drinks range, covering milkshakes, iced coffees, matcha, boba refreshers and sparkling lemonades from £2.49.

It has rolled out to all 58 Scottish restaurants so far, with a limited edition Millionaire Shake for the Scottish launch, backed by a £38 million investment in dedicated Kwench counters. Expect it to keep spreading across the UK.

It works more like a coffee shop counter inside the restaurant than a normal drinks tap. The Kwench drinks are made when you order rather than poured from a machine, which is why the range needs its own counter and its own routine.

Scotland got the range first, with all 58 of its restaurants converted at once rather than in stages. That is usually the sign of a test being treated as a success, and it is why more counters are expected elsewhere in the UK.

Prices on our menu page for the best known Kwench drinks:

  • Caramel Krunch Shake: £3.99
  • Chocolate Krunch Shake: £3.99
  • Iced Latte: £2.99
  • Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade: £2.89
  • Cherry Poppin’ Refresher: £2.89

The shakes at £3.99 are priced like a dessert, because that is really what they are. The refreshers and lemonades at £2.89 are the cheaper way into the range, and they pair better with a heavy festive meal than another rich item does.

Kwench also turns up inside the Christmas range itself. The Fully Festive Meal includes a Kwench shake, which is worth remembering when you compare its £13.49 price with building the same order piece by piece.

Not every branch has a Kwench counter yet, so the range is still a Scotland first story for now. If you are travelling for a shake or a boba refresher, check your local restaurant on the app before you set off.

Value verdict

The 6 piece Mega Mozza Sticks at £7.99 work out cheaper per stick than the 3 for £3.33, so share or go big. Of the Christmas range, the £7.99 Gravy Burger is the one to try first.

It is a returning favourite at a fair price, and the meal upgrades are reasonable if you want the full festive spread.

Put simply, the sticks are the low risk order and the Gravy Burger is the event order. One is cheap, shareable and sticking around, while the other is a returning favourite that will not be on menus again once the festive run ends.

What Is Worth Trying First?

If you only try one new item this side of Christmas, make it the Gravy Burger at £7.99. It is the item people will be talking about in launch week, and the price is fair for a limited burger.

Mozzamelt is the urgent one, because it ends on 8 November and stock will not last everywhere. Within the range, the Mega Mozza Sticks are the smart pick: easy to share, and the only part still standing once the festive menu starts.

Before you order any of it, have a quick look at the current KFC deals and the app. Limited ranges often pick up app offers in their first and last weeks, and the festive buckets are far better value split between a group.
